SCOPE OF WORK
Vertex Security implemented a comprehensive Latch smart access and intercom system across the entire building, providing residents with cutting-edge control and convenience. Our detailed scope of work included the following key components:
Integrated Smart Access & Intercom: A complete Latch system was installed, overseeing access control, intercom functionalities, and apartment entry. Each of the 45 apartments received a Latch smart lock and a secondary audio-only intercom unit, designed to first route calls to residents’ mobile phones.
Amenity Space Access: Latch smart access was extended to 12 amenity space doors, ensuring secure and convenient use for residents across common areas.
Custom Entry Solution: A custom-made 47-inch high pedestal was installed at the front door, incorporating an intercom with a card reader, a call station for tenants, and an integrated camera. This bespoke solution also included a keyswitch for USPS access, complemented by a secondary intercom panel at the side entrance.
Hardware Installation: Full installation of all electrical door hardware was completed, including strikes, mag locks, and mortise locks, across all apartment and amenity doors, ensuring robust physical security integrated with the smart access platform.
