The Challenge

As a high-profile technology hub housing 35 scale-up companies, Margalit Startup City required a flexible security solution built for a multi-tenant environment. The property needed centralized visitor management at the main entry, multi-door access control across shared spaces and meeting rooms, and total camera coverage across all floors—without burdening individual tenant spaces with dedicated hardware.

The Solution & Scope of Work

Vertex Security engineered and installed a cloud-managed security, entry, and surveillance system across the multi-story campus:

• Centralized Aiphone Visitor Intercom: Installed an Aiphone main entry panel paired with a central concierge station. This setup routes guest calls directly to front-desk staff for streamlined visitor processing across the entire campus.

• Brivo Cloud Access Control & Magnetic Locks: Deployed Brivo cloud access control across 18 doors, securing common areas, conference rooms, and perimeter points. Fitted 12 key entries with heavy-duty magnetic locks for enhanced door security.

• Building-Wide Cisco IP Surveillance Network: Ran full data cabling and mounted a 40-camera Cisco IP camera system, delivering wide-angle video coverage across all floors, interior hallways, and public spaces.
