The Challenge

As a new multi-family development in Rego Park, Trylon Tower needed a modern, streamlined security and IT setup for its 196 apartments and common spaces. The goal was to avoid fragmented systems by deploying a unified network for access control, visitor entry, video surveillance, and resident connectivity.

The Solution & Scope of Work

Vertex Security installed a fully integrated security, access, and AV infrastructure across the property:

• Property-Wide Ubiquiti Wi-Fi Network: Installed 25 indoor and outdoor Ubiquiti access points to deliver continuous wireless coverage across all residential floors, amenity zones, and outdoor areas.

• Salto KS Wireless Apartment Locks: Fitted 196 apartment doors with Salto KS smart locks, giving residents keyless entry while providing management with real-time online access tracking.

• Salto KS Wired Access Control: Secured 30 common area and amenity doors using Salto KS wired hardware, unifying building-wide access under a single management dashboard.

• ButterflyMX Smart Video Intercom: Deployed an app-based ButterflyMX intercom at main entry points, enabling residents to view visitors and grant remote access from their smartphones.

• Eagle Eye Cloud-Based CCTV System: Installed 96 IP cameras managed through an Eagle Eye cloud platform, providing secure off-site storage and remote video monitoring for building management.

• Lobby & Amenity AV Integration: Designed and mounted commercial audio and display systems in the main lobby and shared amenity spaces to upgrade the resident experience.
